Artsfest Poster
Artsfest is an annual celebration in Springfield, Missouri. Artisans from across the state gather on Walnut Street to celebrate the arts.My design incorporates the human eye as the symbol for the visual arts. The execution suggests color and light, the essence of vision, emanating from the darkness. The gradiated Art Deco design is a tribute the 1920s poster artist A.M. Cassandré.
